Sunrise over Lancaster Creek, sunset over the Rappahannock River. Enjoy both from this waterfront cottage on Pearson Island, with Lancaster Creek in your backyard and views of the both the Rappahannock and Lancaster Creek from the screened front and side porch.

With a private dock and boathouse, you can step aboard your boat and head out on Lancaster Creek right from your backyard. The dock has had recent repairs and is also a spot to cast a line or sit by the water.

The older cottage has the feel of a longtime fishing retreat. It needs repairs, including soft spots in the flooring on the screened porch and in parts of the home. There is currently no running water, and the seller believes the well pump may need replacement. For someone ready to take on the work, it’s a chance to make a weekend fishing getaway of their own.
