We present Griffin's Egg, a heartfelt offering reflecting the generosity of longtime coastal resident and acclaimed potter, Diana Leon. She donated this property, lovingly developed over the course of more than 50 years, to the Friends of the Fort Bragg Library to help fund their upcoming library annex. A team of dedicated volunteers oversaw the distribution of her many noteworthy collections, from that of her own beautiful pottery to an astonishing range of curated treasures from the 19th and 20th centuries. This enchanting cottage, situated on nearly an acre and customized by Diana, looks out onto multi-colored lavender gardens, magical pathways and peaceful nooks and crannies, all now available to the discerning buyer. Besides the warmth of the wood-clad interior and space to wander among trees, flowers, and found-object creations, there is an expansive, well-used ceramic studio and brick kiln awaiting creative refurbishment. Or, use the studio as a footprint for a future building project, situated enough away from the cottage to ensure privacy for residents. (Check with county for permitting details.)
