What is the fee for a permit to build?
Different fees are assessed for different projects.
$1500.00 = new homes, guest homes or home additions over 600 square feet (this includes a $500.00 refundable deposit)
$100.00 = home additions under 600 square feet (no deposit required)
$50.00 = all other projects ($100.00 if permit is obtained after the fact)
Are there any transfer fees?
Tahitian Village charges a “transfer fee” in order to cover the cost of certain services that must be provided: review of ownership records, creation of new records to reflect the change in ownership. In addition, frequently, correspondence must be prepared to communicate to title companies and others information about the property, including whether there are any unpaid fees or charges. In order to cover these expenses, the Tahitian Village Property Owners’ Association charges a $225.00 transfer fee per lot each time a lot sells, or ownership is transferred, in the subdivision.
